The final container garden in the camping theme, this time with a rugged gnome, really roughing it in a secluded area, making dinner over an open fire.
I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. Fairy royalty was spotted camping today! I wonder if they were jealous of the other fairies camping recently. Yet another container garden in my Miniature Garden Challenge.
Here is my 26th garden for this month's Miniature Garden Challenge - a challenge I posed to my followers, encouraging them to create one miniature garden, in any theme, and share it tagged #JuneFairyGardenChallenge2019.
This cabin was given to me by one of My Fairy Folks last year (click here to read that post). The outhouse, bench and sign were gifted to me this year from two other of My Fairy Folks. That makes this a no cost garden.
There are restrooms inside this Bed & Breakfast, make no mistake, but this outhouse is just a quick relief for guests enjoying the scenery.
The plants in this garden are red and white violas (I'm not sure what the yellow flower is), a favorite flower of mine, all surrounded by jade, one of my favorite succulents. Jade is especially good for filling in an area. This particular cluster was formed from one simple clipping.
Inspired by my Williams, Arizona trip, where I stayed at the Railside RV Park, this part of my fairy garden represents the quaint main building in the park. The building is inviting and has seating out front, as well as plenty of natural space for kids to play.
Also at the Park was a covered wagon (Update: I never got to ride that wagon) with a nearby play yard for children. I've had this wagon for a few years, purchased at Hobby Lobby, which fit perfectly here to represent the wagon in Williams.
This setting represents the multiple RVs at the park, full of traveling families.
These two are enjoying a cool evening by the fire.
I bought this camper a while ago, knowing I would be creating a miniature garden someday to represent one of my many camping trips.
Little Jimmy is another guest camping out this evening, warming his hands by the fire. It looks like he finished dinner recently and you can see his welcoming tent is up and ready for the night.
