It's Friday and time for an update of my food garden! I used some leftover greens from my garden and some from my fridge to make myself a quick, healthy breakfast.

In the Garden - Haul, February 2019
The following three container gardens were created using three of the new houses I got in my most recent Hobby Lobby haul. Other than the cost of the houses, I only used plants, containers and decor I already had in my inventory so these gardens were very low cost.

I found four new fairy houses at Hobby Lobby. They have great sale prices that allowed me to pick up these four houses for just over $20!
I have quite a bit of catching up to do due to the rain and my surgery but I'm off to a good start now.

Gifts for the garden - February 2019
This first video is a walk through of how I turned recent gifts from Hawaii into new plants for my kitchen window.
I also received seeds for Bird of Paradise. I made sure to follow the instructions and I hope to transplant them as soon as they sprout.

Fairy Garden Class - Treehouse
This fairy garden container was created with flowers and pot purchased at Home Depot and the house and fairies were already in my garden. I spent around $16 for this container garden. I've put together a video below that is also posted on my YouTube channel.

New Life in the Garden - Nikolai
The new life for February is Nikolai, pictured here next to his big sister, Amy. Nikolai's thick pajamas and knit hat keep this rosy-cheeked baby boy warm in the chilly month of February. Amy is very excited to share everything with her new brother, even her favorite pink heart-shaped pillow.

New Life in the Garden - Jasmine
Jasmine is the first new life to be brought in to this garden in 2019. This is the beginning of a year-long series that will feature at least one new, young addition each month.
Jasmine is being rocked by a gentle breeze in a cradle made from a large leaf being held up by two purple morning glories. She's keeping warm thanks to her long-sleeved nighty and knit cap.
