Winter Non-Festival, Oops

As the days lingered, the Elves realized that there was a lot less activity in the community than last year. The packs of customers who constantly filled the store last year were no where to be found. Finally, the elves discovered that due to the huge celebration to commemorate the King's Return, year-end holiday celebration funding was cut short. The majority of the community members were out of town but here you can see three fairies gorging themselves on sweets. Simone on the left, Julip on the right and sweet Ivy in the middle who seems to be suffering from a toothache from all that candy.

Myleene is very photogenic and shows off her holiday decorations.

Myleene's home looks quite festive.

The trees in Woodland Grove are frosted over, giving a natural looking decor.

New to Woodland Grove but not to the community, Loopy (left) and Zoe-Zoe decided to move their home for a new view.

These Frosted Ferns are gorgeous and festive.

Visitors in Weewillow Brook

With the arrival of the king rapidly approaching, more guests are starting to show up. The scheduled guests for this morning have Baby Groot especially excited. He frolicked through the community, singing and swaying, stopping at the rainbow transport destination - Weewillow Brook. He greeted Gwendelyn with a song. She was busy trying to wake up Zoe-Zoe because the visitors would arrive any second and how rude would it be to greet them with sleepy eyes!

Baby Groot sings a tune as Gwendelyn attempts to wake Zoe-Zoe.

Thankfully the upbeat melody of Baby Groot and stern shoulder-shaking from Gwendelyn woke Zoe-Zoe in time. The sky released a rainbow arch that settled down in Weewillow Brook. All grew quiet, or rather all sound was drowned out by the wirring of the transport system but it was soon over. All that remained were three fairies, each holding a musical instrument, and nothing more.

The visitors from Italy, left to right; Eloisa plays a pan flute, Gina plucks the mandolin and Marta prepares her flute.

Baby Groot greeted the musical guests and learned that they had come from Italy. It wasn't long before they all began to make music together. Oh what a wonderful day!

The trio makes music accompanied by Baby Groot's singing and dancing.

September Picture Day In My Garden

Of all the fairies, Jezelle was the most excited to hear that it was picture day and was first in line!

I can never get a picture of Zoe-Zoe awake. Other fairies say it's because she is up all night.
I wonder how many other fairies in my garden are nocturnal?

Meet Sue and Bobby (L to R). They are the best of friends and never leave each other's side.

I took this photo of June while she was busy picking fresh mushrooms for lunch.
By the look of her face, it looks like she's already eaten a few.

April's favorite thing to do is pick flowers.
I've promised her I plant more flowers in my garden within the next few months.

Jeremy, left, and sister Prudence pose for their picture, both with a different approach;
can you tell which sibling is the shy one?

Either Loopy was in a rush to put on her makeup for photo day or she ate a bad mushroom. That's our Loopy!
